Muram Ibrahim
Marketing Director
Being an Eritrean refugee who migrated to America at the malleable age of five Muram knows first-hand the powerful impact nonprofits have in our community. As a child, she was fascinated with the American Dream and strived to become a philanthropist. Muram began volunteering as a teenager in high school by tutoring struggling students after school and helping them create their senior portfolios. She went on to work with YMCA Irvine, Habitat for Humanity, Feeding America, Families Forward, and American Red Cross.
Along with her deep passion for charitable work Muram brings over a decade of corporate experience to RefuCare. She started her career working on product advertisements with Costco Wholesale and Warehouse Demo Services. After her tenure with Costco Muram joined Verizon where she enhanced her technical skills and worked on product launches. At Stearns Lending, Muram managed multiple projects and coordinated with vendor management, training, compliance, marketing, IT, and product development to support a national sales team. She became a subject matter expert on systems, projects, and sales initiatives.
Muram’s motto is “The energy you bring, positive or negative, dictates your perceptions, receptions, and radiations.’” -T.F Hodge. She enjoys spending time with her family, wasting countless hours scrolling through comedic memes, learning about space and quantum physics, and hanging out with rescue animals -especially dogs and horses.
